- K.I.S.S. Stallions, LLC reserves the right to refuse any stallion nomination.
- K.I.S.S. Stallions, LLC is a limited stallion incentive program. If full, stallions will be placed on a waiting list in the order in which they are received.
- Currently enrolled stallions must be re-nominated annually to remain in the program.
- Stallion owners agree to nominate their stallion for three consecutive years. If a stallion owner does not re-nominate their stallion for three consecutive years, only the foals born and/or conceived during the stallion enrollment period are eligible to stay in the K.I.S.S. Stallions incentive program.
- Nominated performing stallions can be enrolled in the incentive program for the enrollment fee of $150 to be eligible to run for incentive fund money.
- The stallion nominator must be the registered owner of the stallion at the time of nomination. All stallion prize money will be mailed to the last recorded stallion nominator.
- At the time of re-nomination, a stallion owner who has an enrolled stallion may choose to enroll a different stallion, also owned by the same owner, in place of the existing stallion.
- Either the stallion owner or the stallion must reside in Kentucky, Indiana, or surrounding states (IN, KY, OH, TN, WV).
Any disputes arising out of the application or interpretation of any rules or conditions of the K.I.S.S. Stallion Incentive Program shall be decided by K.I.S.S. Stallions, LLC.
K.I.S.S. Stallions, LLC reserves the right to alter the conditions of all or part of the Incentive Fund Program and, at its sole discretion, may dissolve the program if a sustainable future does not exist.
Offspring Rules:
- Any K.I.S.S.-enrolled horse can be eligible for Open K.I.S.S. money at open events, regardless of age.
- Regular K.I.S.S. money will be paid on one run (Saturday competition) and will be paid on a 3D format based on the time of the fastest K.I.S.S. eligible foal, with .5 second splits between each division in barrels and 1-second splits in poles. This does not include Juvenile, Futurity, or special event classes as stated at the event.
- Contestants must provide the horse's registered name and a copy of the horse's papers with a K.I.S.S. enrollment sticker and must designate on the event's entry form that they are competing on a K.I.S.S. horse. Failure to provide a copy of registration papers to the show office can result in disqualification to earn K.I.S.S. money at that show.
- A rider can ride more than one K.I.S.S. foal in an open event. K.I.S.S. bonus money will be paid to two of the rider's highest money-earning foals.
- Offspring of stallions that have been enrolled for 3 consecutive years may only be enrolled while the stallion is nominated in the K.I.S.S. program and the year following an enrollment year, due to breeding incentives for given years. ex: If a stallion is enrolled in 2017 and you breed a mare to that stallion, then the stallion drops in 2018, you will still be able to enroll that foal in 2018 as a weanling. This is due to the incentives we give for certain breeding years. This is ONLY if the stallion has stayed nominated in the program for 3 consecutive years.
Weanling Enrollment Rules:
Weanlings can be enrolled by paying $150 by December 1st of the year foaled.
Any foals that have not been enrolled into K.I.S.S. as a weanling may still be paid into the program by December 1st at the following enrollment fees:
- Yearlings — $250
- 2-year-olds — $350
- 3-year-olds — $450
- 4-year-olds — $550
- 5-year-olds and up — $650
Foals turn one year older as of January 1st each year.
Discounted Foal Enrollment Fees for 1st-Year Stallions:
All foals ages 1 to 3 and under of a newly enrolled stallion, during the first year of the stallion’s enrollment, may be grandfathered in for a $200 enrollment fee.
All foals over 3 years old may be enrolled for a $300 enrollment fee during the stallion’s first enrolled year.
Enrolled foals will obtain lifetime enrollment as long as the stallion is nominated for at least three consecutive years.
All foals conceived and/or born during a stallion’s nominated years will obtain lifetime enrollment, provided the stallion remains nominated for at least three consecutive years.
**Offspring ownership transfers are subject to a $20 processing fee.
